The International Journal of Advanced Case Analysis in Health is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original case studies of contemporary issues in health research, teaching, and practice.  Unlike other case study publications that only appear in the professional press, are isolated within niche fields, and are not rooted in broadly accepted competencies, the International Journal of Advanced Case Analysis in Health case studies are subjected to the peer-review process, are integrated with other health disciplines, and are linked to public health core competencies (1).  The mission of the International Journal of Advanced Case Analysis in Health is to develop and disseminate high quality case studies that enrich the academic preparation of the next generation of health researchers, teachers, and practitioners who must make major breakthroughs in health.
