ALIGNING HEALTH BEHAVIORS: A CROSS-AGE EXAMINATION OF COUPLES

Abstract

"Aligning Health Behaviors: A Cross-Age Examination of Couples" investigates the concordance in health behaviors among couples across different age groups. This study explores the extent to which couples' health behaviors, such as diet, exercise, smoking, and alcohol consumption, are aligned within various age cohorts. Using data from surveys and interviews, the research examines patterns of similarity and divergence in health behaviors between partners, considering factors such as age, gender, and relationship dynamics. The findings shed light on the importance of couple-based interventions and tailored health promotion strategies to address health behaviors across the lifespan.
