Understanding the neural mechanisms underlying emotional conflict control is crucial for elucidating emotional regulation processes and their relevance to mental health. Resting-state functional connectivity (RSFC) has emerged as a valuable tool for probing intrinsic brain networks and predicting cognitive functions. This study investigates the relationship between RSFC patterns and emotional conflict control using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) data. Through a series of analyses, we identify specific RSFC patterns associated with effective emotional conflict regulation. Our findings shed light on the neural substrates underlying emotional control processes and provide insights into the potential use of RSFC as a predictive marker for emotional regulation abilities.
